Learn from Lawyers
JumpStart Fellows have the benefit of discussing course material with lawyers and can ask for general career advice. There are few programs, if any, that offer a chance for people to have an open discussion with actual law school graduates.

Tailored Feedback
JumpStart Fellows will receive written feedback regarding their submitted works from JumpStart instructors. The feedback will "highlight" areas of strength, weaknesses, and recommend ways for a Fellow to improve their writing. This process is known as "redlining," and is typical of feedback received after taking a law school exam.

Improve Analytical Skills
Through our program, Fellows will gain an understanding of what "analysis" means in the context of legal writing. Fellows who successfully complete our program will improve their analytical writing, thereby giving them a better chance of success when they get to law school.
